Frequently Asked Questions

What does it mean that your clothes are made from natural and sustainable fabrics?

The primary fabrics I use are 100% organic cotton, Organic Cotton/Spandex Blends, and Hemp/Cotton Blends. These fabrics are more sustainable than most fashion fabrics, as they are grown with few or no pesticides, use less water, and the fibers can be recycled and eventually composted. Compare this to fast fashion, where many items are made from polyester - a type of plastic plastic - which will never break down and will continue to last in landfills long after the garment can be worn. When selecting fabrics, I look first for fabrics that have the GOTS Certification. This is a global certification that certifies the fibers were grown organically, the fabrics produced without the use of harmful chemicals, and the individuals involved in the process were paid a living wage. If an organic option is not available, I next look for fabrics with the OEKO-Tex Certification, which means they were produced without any harmful chemicals.

How long will it take for my order to ship?

Most items are handmade to order, meaning once I receive your order, I will begin work on making it just for you! Typically my turnaround time is 5-8 calendar days, though I make every effort to get your item shipped sooner. In the very rare circumstance that it may take longer, I will get in touch with you right away.

Certain items are listed as “Ready to Ship”. These are items I have sewn to take to festivals and markets, and as indicated, they are ready to ship right away. I process these items within 1-2 business days and take them promptly to the post office.

I don’t see the size I need in stock. When will you have it again?

My “in-stock” inventory is determined by the amount of fabric I have available. If you do not see the size you need in-stock, please contact me, as I may have the fabric available or I may be able to acquire more of it to sew your order. I tend to err on the side of caution when listing my in-stock sizes so that I do not accidentally list a size as being in stock when I do not have enough fabric to make it!

Eventually, I may run low on a fabric, at which point I only list the sizes I have premade to take to markets and festivals, at which point the in-stock sizes are truly the only sizes I have. This items will say that they are “ready to ship” rather than made to order in the listing. However, please feel free to contact me if you don’t see your size because if an item has enough interest, I will do my best to acquire more of the fabric if possible.

Do you have a storefront? Can I buy your items in person?

I do not have a physical storefront, but I do sell in-person at many markets and festivals in the South Carolina Region! Please visit my In-Person Market Schedule to see a list of my upcoming markets, or follow my shop on Instagram for updates.

Do you take custom orders?

Yes! Please see my Custom Orders page for details.

Where can I find your Size Chart?

Please see the size chart below for sizing information. For many outfits, especially dresses, the chest measurement is the most important measurement when determining which size will be the best fit for your child. However, if in doubt, please feel free to contact me as I can offer guidance for determining the best size for a particular design, or assist with custom sizing if needed.
